Aspen Retail is a solution designed to meet the challenges related to order management, demand forecasting, fuels inventory management, replenishment planning, transportation scheduling, and delivery execution management. This automated and integrated solution lowers the cost of operating a petroleum distribution network, improves return on assets, and maximizes margins. Aspen Retail is a key component of aspenONE® Supply and Distribution for Refining and Marketing.

Features

Aspen Retail is a flexible and modular solution made up of the following components.

  • Automated Stock Replenishment (ASR) is an AspenTech-exclusive component that leverages a proven method of integrated demand forecasting, proportional inventory management, and automatic order generation to create automatic replenishment plans and orders.
  • Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO) uses rapid recursion and advanced mathematical heuristics to generate the absolute lowest cost-per-volume-delivered schedule that is operationally feasible given all costs and constraints. It provides vehicle/driver management and availability for scheduling, constraint-based restrictions, cost management and minimization, optimized product sourcing, and financial and operational scorecards.
  • Aspen Retail Order Manager - Voice is a seamlessly integrated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system that supports a variety of customer fuels logistics requirements, such as order management, automated stock replenishment, delivery confirmation and reconciliation, and other automated telephonic logistics information. It is directly integrated with the core logic of ASR and RSO engines so that dataflow is real-time and no other system interfaces are required.
  • Aspen Retail Order Manager - Web is a secure, customer-specific web portal that provides a complete set of Customer Relationship Management and logistics capabilities.  These capabilities include 24/7 access for all customers wishing to place, modify, cancel, or check the status of orders, check inventory status and site-specific demand forecasts, enter sales and inventory information, view logistics reports, track order status and ETAs, modify collaborative demand forecasts, view key performance indicators (KPIs), and more.
